Terms of Service
The terms on which GetSourceDirect is provided. Sections that describe a capability not yet live are labelled as such, so nothing here is read as a promise of a service that does not exist.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By accessing or using GetSourceDirect you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
- If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
- These terms apply to all users – buyers, business owners, and visitors.
2. Platform Description
- GetSourceDirect is a marketplace platform that connects verified businesses (manufacturers, service providers, and other sellers) directly with buyers worldwide.
- GetSourceDirect acts as an intermediary only. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and businesses.
- GetSourceDirect does not handle, ship, or take physical possession of any products.
3. Business Registration
- Businesses may register on GetSourceDirect free of charge and list up to 3 products or services.
- The Growth Plan ($75/month) allows up to 10 listings. The Pro Plan ($150/month) allows up to 20 listings.
- The Verified Badge ($100 one-time fee) indicates that GetSourceDirect has manually reviewed the business.
- Businesses must provide accurate information. False or misleading information will result in immediate account suspension.
- GetSourceDirect reserves the right to reject or remove any business listing at its sole discretion.
- Commission model: buyers pay a 0% GetSourceDirect platform commission. Sellers pay a 10% success commission on a completed sale.
- The 10% seller success commission is the intended commercial policy for completed sales. It is not currently charged or collected: GetSourceDirect does not process payments and does not hold buyer funds, so there is no mechanism through which a fee could be collected. No commission is added to any price today.
- Operational limitation, stated plainly: because payment is arranged and settled directly between the buyer and the business, GetSourceDirect cannot observe whether, when or at what value an off-platform transaction actually completed. The 10% success commission is therefore a policy that will apply once in-platform payment processing launches — it is not a charge we are able to calculate, invoice or enforce now, and no clause here should be read as creating that ability.
- A previously published version of these Terms described the commission as split between a seller-side fee and a separate buyer-side protection fee. That model is withdrawn and forms no part of these Terms. Buyers pay 0% and the only commission is the 10% seller success commission described above.
4. Buyer Terms
- Buyer accounts are free to create and maintain.
- Buyers pay no GetSourceDirect platform commission — 0% — and no platform fee is added to a seller’s quoted price.
- No commission of any kind is currently collected, because no transaction is processed through the platform. Sellers settle payment directly with the buyer until payment processing launches.
- Buyers must provide accurate delivery information. GetSourceDirect is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses.
- Because GetSourceDirect does not process payments or orders today, there is no automatic release of funds and no delivery confirmation step on the platform. Buyers and businesses agree payment milestones directly.
- If a transaction goes wrong, contact the GetSourceDirect team. A structured in-platform dispute workflow with evidence upload and a tracked resolution timeline is not available yet, so we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.
5. Prohibited Activities
- Circumventing the platform to conduct transactions outside of GetSourceDirect.
- Listing counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited products or services.
- Providing false business information or fake reviews.
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
- Using the platform for money laundering or fraudulent activity.
- Scraping, copying, or reproducing platform content without permission.
6. Commercial Terms — Current Status
- IMPORTANT: GetSourceDirect does not currently provide payment processing, escrow or a refund service. No card, bank or wallet payment is collected by the platform today.
- Any payment for goods or services is arranged and settled directly between the buyer and the business. GetSourceDirect is not a party to that payment and does not receive or hold the funds.
- When payment processing launches, these Terms will be updated before any payment is collected and the applicable fees will be shown at checkout.
- There is no escrow and no platform-held refund process at this time, because GetSourceDirect never takes custody of buyer funds.
- GetSourceDirect is not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by banks or card issuers.
7. Shipping and Delivery
- Businesses are responsible for shipping products directly to buyers using their chosen courier.
- Businesses must upload tracking numbers to the platform within 3 business days of order confirmation.Not yet operable — there is no order system on the platform, so tracking cannot be uploaded. This applies only if and when in-platform orders are introduced.
- Estimated delivery times are provided by businesses and are not guaranteed by GetSourceDirect.
- GetSourceDirect is not liable for delays caused by customs, weather, or courier issues.
- Buyers assume responsibility for import duties and taxes applicable in their country.
8. Dispute Resolution
- GetSourceDirect does not currently operate an in-platform dispute resolution service for orders, because orders are not processed through the platform.
- The previous version of this section promised a 48-hour investigation and decision on every dispute. That guarantee has been withdrawn because the operational capability to meet it does not exist yet. GetSourceDirect will not promise a resolution timeframe it cannot reliably deliver.
- Disputes for transactions conducted outside the platform are not covered.
9. Limitation of Liability
- GetSourceDirect is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of any product or service listed on the platform.
- GetSourceDirect does not currently hold buyer funds, so there is no money for the platform to refund. Sellers payment arrangements are agreed directly between buyer and seller.
- GetSourceDirect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
- GetSourceDirect may terminate or suspend any account at any time for violation of these terms.
- Users may close their accounts at any time by contacting omairkaludi@gmail.com.
- Upon termination, any relationship between the business and its buyers remains a matter between those parties. GetSourceDirect holds no funds to settle.
11. Governing Law
- OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: the registered legal entity that operates GetSourceDirect is not identified in this document or anywhere in the codebase. The governing jurisdiction cannot be stated accurately until that entity is confirmed, so no jurisdiction is asserted here. A qualified legal adviser should complete this section.
- Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration.
